The Kentucky Museum preserves and exhibits artifacts pertaining to the general history and culture of the state of Kentucky. This mission statement is broad and flexible, and has resulted in exhibits ranging from an exploration of modern hiphop, to the 100-year anniversary of Western Kentucky University, to the structural workings of an early-19th-century log house. The museum lies in the heart of the city, on the north end of the Western Kentucky campus.
